Why organic skincare?

Your skin is the largest organ on. Up to 60% of what you apply on it absorbs into your internal organs. If you knew what toxins non-organic skincare products really contains, maybe you would think twice before you use them. Especially on your child’s skin.

Non-organic skin care products includes synthetic man-made chemicals such as sodium laurel, mineral oils and laureth sulphate. They can also contain mineral oil, petroleum, parabens and other chemicals that, with prolonged use, can cause skin irritation and hormonal imbalance.

The big difference between non-organic and organic skincare is that organic products are made of natural ingredients. Maybe most important – organic ingredients are grown without modified organisms and other additives or chemicals. So, with organic skincare products, you can be sure that your child´s skin only absorbs natural ingredients, which are both kind and harmless to the skin.

Another common ailment for kids is allergic disorders. Since organic skincare products don’t contain harsh chemicals, they are less likely to cause allergic reactions, inflammations, or irritations. If an allergic reaction does occur with the use of organic products, it would most likely be due to a natural ingredient, which would be easier to identify.

With organic skincare, you ensure that you get the real nutritional benefits from its ingredients. Natural organic ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter, for example, are known to soothe, nourish, moisturize and promote smooth skin and won´t harm your baby in the long run. And it´s not only harmless, it’s also safe. When you buy organic skincare products you buy cruelty-free products. Products that are not tested on animals. You are also helping to preserve the environment. Since organic products are grown naturally, they are free from chemicals and therefore don´t leave harmful footprints on the planet.
